Finishing Touches For The Big Day

Finishing Touches For The Big Day

When you first get engaged and start the process of planning your wedding your main focus are the big things like finding a venue, your dream dress and your floral arrangements.

Once you've got these out of the way, the finishing touches can often get forgotten until the last minute and sometimes these can become vital in how your dream wedding looks.

We specialise in handmade personalised keepsakes to celebrate special occasions. Wedding season is upon us so we've compiled a list of our favourite products to help style your wedding day and add those perfect finishing touches.

There are links underneath each photo to take you straight to the product to make it even easier for you :)

1. Personalised Delicate Floral Wedding Guest Book

This minimal style guestbook is a great way to collect memories from your wedding and well wishes from all of your nearest and dearest. Some people forget about this small detail however it's such a lovely thing to look back on and reminisce about your big day and bring all those memories flooding back.

A great idea for guestbooks is to also have an instant camera or photo booth nearby so your guests can pop a photo in from the day next to their message.

2. Wooden Floral Wreath Wedding Keepsake Gift Box

This floral wreath wooden box is perfect for using as a post box at a wedding or to store cards, photos and mementos after the big day. It's a great keepsake and can be personalised with your names and your wedding date.

A lot of people often buy these as gifts for the newlyweds either as a wedding present in itself for the recipients to fill with their own items and photos or as a luxury gift box to fill with other goodies for the happy couple.

3. Personalised Floral Freestanding Acrylic Menu Sign

This acrylic menu stand is such a great way to display your menu choices to your guests. You can have a menu on each table for your guests to peruse once they're sat down or you could have one on display on the way into the venue so your guests can have a quick browse as they're waiting to be seated.

Each menu comes with a clear acrylic stand so it can be put on a flat surface without needing anything else propping it up. The sign can be personalised with your venue and your wedding date or even your names and the date which will make a lovely keepsake too.

4. Rustic Mr And Mrs Surname Wreath Style Cake Topper

A cake topper is a fantastic way to decorate your wedding cake whilst showing off your new joint surname! This particular topper is a popular choice due to it's botanical style wreath design.

The birch plywood option is ideal for a rustic, boho or vintage style wedding but we also have a large range of coloured acrylics to choose from if you want something more suited to your colour scheme.

5. The Bride And Groom Place Settings

Place settings are one of those finishing touches which aren't necessary but look so good They can be laid on a table or even hung on the back of a chair with some ribbon or string.

Our first type of place settings are the ones specifically for the newlyweds. This particular design features 'The Bride' and 'The Groom' and can be made from a range of coloured acrylics or our wooden option. We also have 'Mr' and 'Mrs' options which can be bought as a set or as 2 x Mr or 2 x Mrs for same gender weddings.

6. Personalised White Pennant Flag Name Place Setting

Our second type of place settings are ones that can be bought in bulk and can be used for every guest. It's such a small detail of your big day but they can make such a big difference.

This design is our flag place setting which can be finished with a gold or a white tassel. Each place setting includes your guests name and can also have your wedding date and your names or your venue name on. You can have these placed on their plate, tucked into their napkin or alongside their cutlery. They also look great accompanied with a stem of eucalyptus or any other type of foliage.

7. Welcome Wedding Arch Sign In Wood And Acrylic

One of your big 'on the day' stationery items will usually be a welcome sign. This is a great way to welcome your guests to your wedding and add that perfect personalised touch. You can display it as it is or dress it up with flowers or foliage so it blends in with your decor.

It's usually a fantastic photo opportunity for guests and you can take the sign home after the big day as a keepsake from your wedding. This can be used as a decorative feature in your home, it's not just your wedding photos that can be hung on a wall.

8. Burgundy Floral Order Of The Day Wedding Sign

Make sure everyone knows where to be and at what time with an order of the day sign displayed at your venue. It's great for guests to have a look at whilst enjoying your welcome drinks, canapés, etc... and see what's in store for the rest of the day.

It could even help your day run smoother if people have a good idea when they're due to sit down for food, be ready for the first dance and cutting of the cake, etc...

We have a range of designs available which will hopefully suit your wedding theme. Each design has matching products so you can get all of your stationery in one place.

9. Peony Wedding Seating Plan

One of the most important pieces of 'on the day' stationery is the table plan! This is a fantastic way for your guests to see where they're sitting and who with which will save a lot of time when you're ready for everyone to make their way to their seats and get prepared for the speeches and wedding breakfast. There's nothing worse than everyone wandering around from table to table looking for their name, at least if they know what table number they're looking for, it will make the process a lot quicker.

 10. Rustic Wooden Script Table Numbers Set

Last but not least are table numbers! These go hand in hand with a seating plan and make the whole process a lot smoother. Guests can check out which table their on and then quickly find this table if a table number is on display and saves them walking round the tables looking for their seat.

They make a great decorative item to add to your centrepieces and can be dressed up or down. Either have them simply in a vase of flowers or you can include them in a large display on each table.

Hopefully that's given you a few ideas for finishing touches that you can have on your wedding day and maybe even helped you decide which ones are more important than others if you're on a tight budget!
